As the Year Comes to a Close

News, sports, weather, finance, entertainment, science, technology, health, pop culture, classic movies and television shows, it’s all here for you. I’ve added quite a bit to the menu and you’ll be seeing a lot more in the coming year. And speaking of the coming year, I know there are all kinds of problems all around the world that won’t be solved in the foreseeable future. The planet Earth that you see in the Star Trek universe is a very long way off. However, I can at least hope that we are moving in the right direction. So that movement in the right direction is my wish for the new year. I hope that, on the whole, things will get better not worse, and I want to extend my best wishes to everyone¬†for 2015. I’ll see you next year.

Site Update and ‘Tis the Season

Hi, folks. I’d like you to check out the menu bar. I added some new items. Among other things, you can now watch classic television shows and classic movies. And there’s still more to come. Watch this space. Questions or comments? Feel free to leave a reply.

On a different subject, Christmas is rapidly approaching and this is a very happy time for me, but I know that not everyone celebrates it. If you don’t celebrate it or if you celebrate some other holiday around this time of year, as long as it causes no harm to anyone, we’re cool. Let’s hear it for mutual respect.

Wishing everyone health and happiness for this season and the coming year,

Jim Brooks

Moving Right Along

Hi, folks. The website is coming along. As you can see, there are pages at the top in the menu for CNN, and Reuters. Cybermedia Global is an ongoing project. There’s much more to come. Watch this space.

Welcome to Cybermedia Global

CYBER: Pertaining to the Internet.

MEDIA: The plural of Medium (usually used with a plural verb). The means of communication, such as radio, television, newspapers or magazines, that reach or influence people widely.

CYBERMEDIA: Media published on the Internet or in cyberspace.

Now that that’s taken care of, let me tell you about the coming things for this website. Cybermedia will be informative. There will be news items, sports reports, your local weather, and financial information. There will also be social networking and blogs and videos on a variety of subjects, and I will be including selections of old time movies and television shows. Humphrey Bogart, anyone? How about the Lone Ranger? I’ll also be experimenting with other things that may be of interest. Watch this space. Finally, it is my sincere hope that you will have as much fun exploring Cybermedia as I’m having creating it. Thanks for visiting.
